Today was a good day.

So. Finals are over, and my grades are in. Somehow I was able to pull off A's in all my classes. Clearly, I rule at life.

Cut for rambly, real life stuff. )

HI, YOU! YOU POSTED! I AM HAPPY!

congratulations on totally kicking ass in your classes! For the record, I rule at life too ;) High five, sister!

Do you know what model your computer is? Mine's an M500, and while it's a couple years old, it sounds like yours might be a descendent of mine. It's pretty and widescreen and light too :D

I wish my parents rewarded me for being not-idiot-like, haha. They are far too used to my school successes, tis not fair :P

I've been to Italy, if only for about a week, and it's really fine. Most people speak some English anyway, and you start to pick up important phrases really quickly. You'll be fine darling :)

Also, congratulatiosn to your brother! That is SO awesome!!

How are the Winchestercon plans coming?? I will absolutely *die* if you can't come! *clings*

Thanks muchly! *high fives back* We are awesome.

Ummmm...my laptop is a... MX3228? Or some such?

*stops writing for an hour in order to talk to YOU on the phone* :D

Anyway, awww! You need to be more manipulative and sneaky. Have a grade-reward scale or something. One A = a pair of spiffy, multi-coloured socks. Five A's = a pony!

And my parents don't usually do stuff like this anymore, but I've been really struggling with some of my upper-division courses this semester. (That, and I think my mom wants my old one.)

Ooh, you've been to Italy? When was this? And hee, important phrases liiiike... "Um, excuse me, but do you have any episodes of Supernatural downloaded on your computer?"

And thank you! I still can't believe he's getting married. Eeee!

Aaand already talked to you about the Winchestercon. Things are still looking good! :D

I went to Europe for three weeks the summer after 8th grade with my dad and my grandmother. We started in Rome and traveled to London, via several trains (it was called the Great Trains of Europe), stopping in almost every major city on the way. It was pretty awesome.

I am deeply amused that you interrupted the comment to talk to me, and then finished the comment afterwords. I HEART YOU *smooshes*

I was overseas in London for a week. Not much different from the big cities at home, really. Save the accents. And the side of the road they drive on.

If you semi-know Japanese, then why don't you plan for a Japan vacation instead? 'Less this is a sponsored thing and they're only doing Italy.

I guess it depends how bad you really want to go. I always had early plans in childhood to one day see Stonehenge and London, so it was pretty riveting for me and completely worth it.

Yeah, it's a study abroad course geared toward Art History majors, which is what I am. So...not exactly a vacation. It's pretty much the only out-of-country class I can take that'll also get me the credits that I need. But I'm pretty excited about seeing Florence, purely for the pretty.

Oh, and I do plan on going to Japan at some point in my life. My boyfriend really wants to go there, too, so it'll happen eventually.

Ooh, seeing Stonehenge sounds amazing.

If it's something you want to do, it still counts as a vacation. That's the trick. ;-)

If you still have the time, go for it. Very quickly.

Japan! I've got that on my list of places to visit/live as well. And I'll probably being going with my brother if he's still interested by then.

You don't get to touch Stonehenge, but being there was just enough to garner awe after awe out of me. I don't know. It's just one of those places.

My friend spent a semester in Italy. Apparently the guys are very . . . amorous. And some guy masturbated against her on the bus.

Anyway. Italy is lovely. You'll have a fantastic time.

Drew and M are getting married?! Holy Milkduds Batman! That is awesome!

And the minute you get back to your house after Italy, you MUST call me so I can come over and hang out. Here is me hoping that it's a Monday!

Oh and yeah, for the Xmen movie coming out, I'm coloring my hair Rogue fashion! Now I just wish it was a bit longer. :D

Do you want to know any particular Italian phrases, because I'm fairly sure I could help. Also, an idea would be to get a late elemetary/early high school Italian textbook because they tend to have stuff you'll actually need, like numbers and phrases you will actually use, like how to order things at cafes and stuff.
