an abundance of overtime is now a relative constant opportunity at work (I figure after a year of being stuck in the "we desperately need people" end of the "cut back on overtime" vs "desperate need" cycle, management has forgotten that come October they will be freaking out over the budget overruns due to overtime... but that's their headache and ( Read more... )

meanwhile, back in my brain (I want comments, surely I do, and I appreciate them so much more than I can express, and yet I do not seem to register that the right time to mention this is when I get one... duh...

I did the full time job full time college thing for four years... I was numb, but survived... and I didn't have kids... take it easy :)

I worked two jobs and went to college for three years right out of high school. It's later now and working and going to school leaves little time for the sleep that is so much more essential now than it ever seemed to be back then.

I don't have kids. Unless you're referring to my furry family.

have I really been away from LJ for this long?... no, but I have been away from my journal, this place, for this long... as usual, I accidentally find myself here by clicking on a link... and as usual, I find the wonder of you... you really must vacation here one day... time off for the holidays? :)
