So glad I stumbled across this post. I kept myself away from the computer for a whole twenty four hours to make sure I didn't even get a whiff of spoilers for BD. And I'm so glad I was spoiler free.

I cried hardcore at the birth scene. I honestly thought the venom wasn't going to work there for a minute, then Jacob imprinted and I was screaming "WHAAAT?! NOWAI!!" at the top of my lungs. (I still thought Renesmee was a little monster then.) Still, those few paragraphs were perfectly written. I had trouble understanding the imprinting relationship and how it could totally overshadow everything until I read that description.

And he imprinted on half of Bella's soul. <3 Could you ask for anything more perfect for him? I remember feeling totally devastated about Jacob at the end of Eclipse. I swore if SM didn't let him imprint on SOMEONE during Breaking Dawn I'd never touch the books again! So *phew* Thanks, SM

I never thought about the Edward/Bella/Jacob relationship like that. Good point! :)
And I really do hope the fandom calms down after a while. Everything is so crazy right now.

I completely agree with 99.9 percent of everything you said. (I like Renesmee's name...) I think you're awesome for being able to put it into words. I loved the book, and I love SMeyer for writing it. Rock on!
