If Twilight was about finding love, New Moon was about losing love, Eclipse was about choosing love; then Breaking Dawn was about protecting love.
Absolutely.

The last scene where Edward is finally able to read Bella's mind completely turned me into a weeping child.
Me too! I'm getting teary just thinking about again. Hmph.

I didn't say it was the sole reason. I said it might be one of the reasons. I know that there are many that are old enough to understand that relationship, I am one myself. However, I think the fact that a big part of the fandom is made of teens is one of the reasons the book wasn't as succesful. I don't think a 12 year old could understand that kind of relationship as others can.
As for the love story, I understand, but there wasn't much to go about after the wedding. The love story is still there and it will always be there, just as strong as it's always been. Now was just the time to move on to a different kind of love. But I agree there could've been more love. However, we still have Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse for that. :)

This is Bella's final step into adulthood

Too bad that this was the book where the narrator switched and all the changes between teenage Bella and vampire protective momma Bella happened off-screen.

This is the story of Bella and Renesmee.

Rolls right of the tongue, doesn't it? Looks good on the page? Really. Maybe you should say it out loud for once.

Seriously how am I supposed to take Meyer seriously on adulthood and motherhood when her idea of a good first name for a girl is a namesmushing of her two grandmas, resulting in not just one bad name but two?

If Meyer gets a detail like a name so, so ridiculously wrong, how can you trust her that she gets a big thing like the metaphorical transition into adulthood right? I can't and after all the plot contrivances and character assassination I won't ever have the patience for it again.

I think the name is irrelevant. It's more poking fun at Bella's bad naming qualities than anything else. I think Stephenie did that completely on purpose. And I think the harsh tone is completely unnecesary, I'm not trying to make enemies here, just giving out an honest opinion.

I just want to say thank you. I have gotten so irritated lately at all the bashing. I actually dropped the community 'twilight addict' from my page because of all the negativity ( ... )
