I read somewhere in a Youtube comment that the latin-spanish version of this song turned out to be a whole lot more sinister thanks to the rather liberal translation job they did on it. I got curious so I looked up the original lyrics in English, and compared them to the Spanish version:

And I think most English-speaking kids figured out it was the alcohol. I could be wrong, though. Dumbo the movie made me more upset than Bambi as a kid.

I remember being mildly scared of this part when I watched it as a kid. I mean, those elephants faces are scary! Some of the older Disney movies seemed more disturbing than the newer ones. Have a Happy Birthday!
