I loved Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. She has several other books, have you read anything else by her?

I haven't actually, though I know I should. I think I'm going to pick up Twisted and Catalyst some time soon.

It's a little upsetting (to me) how many of these books have sequels. Then again, some of the sequels I've read for YA books have been even better than the originals, so...

Also, I haven't read him recently, but in the past I've really loved David Levithan's writing. If you have yet to read his book "Realm of Possibility" I would suggest checking it out pretty much immediately. I actually like it better than Boy Meets Boy, because he gets to develop and explore lots of characters, and also their relationships to each other.

Overall this is a really thoughough list. Nice work.
