How is it that a singer/entertainer, no doubt of great talent and note, gets hours and hours of air time and we can not find out how the country is doing in a WAR!!! Sick of this sorry excuse for reporters! News, this is all you got?

We went through this 32 years ago with Elvis' death; it eclipsed that of Bing Crosby.

We have these 'news vendors' (http://www.metronews.ca/vancouver , http://vancouver.24hrs.ca/) handing out free 'newspapers' on our street corners, major bus routes & ALRT stations ( - these gits step right into your path, like Hare Krishnas, no matter what 'I'm-in-a-hurry-leave-me-alone' signals you may be broadcasting), which are nothing more than "Brittany Today", "What J-Lo Did"; "What J-Lo Did Next", "Thursday Brangelina Slept Late"...

All this brouhaha, yes, over anything... yet, sadly, in our childhood, remember when all Walt Disney's death rated
in the evening paper was a single column?
