So nice to meet you, and thank you (and Paul) for letting me crash on your couch. (Although I am still disturbed that I have no recollection of getting my bags or getting into my sweats!)
I have a couple pictures of two drunk chicks that bear a surprising resemblance to, uh, us, which I will email along to you!
LOL. Great recap. I could fill in some blanks for you, but what's the fun in that? I like how you're getting random bits of info from ~outside sources.
For the record, you put that 2010 hat on yourself at the beginning of Adam's set and kept it on the entire time. It was ~festive. I think the only other person I saw with that hat on was the ~lady bubby_wubby took a picture of at the beginning of the evening. ;)
(btw, what is the username and Twitter name of the girl you snuck in? She talked to me, but I couldn't hear a word. I want to say hi!)
HI! It didn't really register at the time that we were in front of speakers so you couldn't hear me. Then I remember turning around and tripping over one of those velvet benches. That was obviously one of the highlights of my night.
I had so much fun and so grateful for being escorted in by the lovely cantinera. I still can't believe we had the guts to do that.
She is better. Happier, more alert and eating more. I need to post. It was just that the situation was something that I had so many thoughts on, I never formulated them properly.
I'm glad she's much better - she must have been thrilled to have so many of her family come and visit her.
I understand about your posting difficulty too - there have been quite a few times this year when I wanted to post, but the posts would have been so long and complicated that they would have had to have been done in six or seven installments. And I just don't have the time for that and I suspect that many don't have the inclination to read them!
Just the same, if you do ever get around to it, I would be interested in your impressions of your trip.
Oh, you sound like you had so much fun! I guess everybody needs a night like that at least once (although I guess it's too bad you don't remember meeting the brother). Good to hear you're unhurt, though.
