What is thanksgiving without turkey? i mean, who even conciders having it without some form of turkey? you get so used to it, that you jsut assume no matter where you are your gonna get some. its as natural as popcorn at a movie theatre. i'm aware not everyone gets popcorn when they see a flick, but if a guy buys some before going to see Scary

I remember one year dad had this brilliant idea to see a football game with my brother on Thanksgiving, and to bring mom and I along... I was really unhappy when we found out no restraunts were open to serve turkey, and the hotel only had normal breakfast/lunch items. :OP I told dad I never wanted to be away for a holiday again, and so far that's how it's been. Mom makes the turkey and dad pretends he did when he cuts it up and serves it. Yay for yumminess. Glad you got some turkey.

it's so cute when you get all worked up like that! but i understand because i'd be pissed off too if i didn't get my traditional thanksgiving dinner. i'm glad it turned out alright in the end. after you're out, we should go hunt our own turkey, stuff it ourselves, and make mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie from scratch like the indians and pilgrims did. wouldn't that be an exciting adventure!
