Stephen King's new book, "Cell", doesn't suck! It's actually damn good. If you liked "The Stand", buy "Cell". Trust me...

I've never been much of a stephen king book fan. family guys "scary lamp" mini skit pretty much summed up my feelings about his writting. however, i do love the movies based on his books. i can handle 3 hours of green mile, and if i could read that fast i'm sure i'd be fine reading all his books, but at about page 100 and hour 6 i start to just get pissed off.

well, the ending of "Cell" SUCKED! Man, I'm sure two of the three cats could have done better.

I really should have expected it, though...

For those of you who are reading it, you never find out what caused The Pulse, and there is NO conclusion to anything. The guy finds his kid, and that's all he cares about...

sorry to hear about your disappointing movie experience. i guess it goes to show that you get what you pay for. it really was a good movie! you haven't started rereading the series yet, have you? i read some of the books as a kid, but i'm not sure i ever finished the series. so do you think i'd like pandora star? i never really was into sci-fi books...possibly because you always wanted me to read them and i just enjoyed pissing you off. maybe i could get into sci-fi now...tho my reading time is somewhat limited.
