Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

So we is flying out of the friendly 8 isles and heading to what the Hawai'ians refer to as the 9th island......Las Vegas.
And one of the first views we get is on the strip of Excalibur, one of the resort hotels.

Give it time; the OHS heavies might just eliminate that elusive bird called 'Common Sense' from the Grand Canyon in years to come. Sadly.

I think I might shit myself on that funny looking Ski-Doo thing 900 feet in the air!

Just getting a chance to look at your US trip now, little one. Have worked quite a lot of late (hence getting sick as well) and have just found some time to capture a glimpse at your photos. The Grand Canyon looks spectacular, interestingly enough, it reminds me so much of the escarpments in the Territory, only on a much larger scale!

Lack of fences makes Grand Canyon so much more 'real'. Hope it never changes.
