I'm not sure how. I'm on firefox as well. Where is the botched html?

Edit: *sighs* It looks like smart tags were not turned off for that document. I have to pull this post down as its going to take a while to recode everything.

Awesome fic! I really loved your spacefaring AU, I'm such a sucker for things like that. Steve's resurrection was well done and I liked how you wrote Peter too. Thanks!

Thank you so much!! :) I'm a sucker for all kinds of AUs, too, and this was lots of fun to write.

This is a great story! It's so well put together, and I really adore the way you AU'd the whole CW backstory without spoon feeding us the details. Very nice.

The minute you mentioned that Tony couldn't leave the ship, I knew what was coming. At least, I had an idea. The twist worked very well to surprise me, but it was good to see the classic Chekhov's Gun of Tony's heart (ohnos) in use.

And, of course, everyone's favorite: Deadpool. "There is a woman. With a typewriter. This is all part of her crazy imagination." So much ♥.

Thank you so much!

I figured that the Civil War stuff was probably still fresh enough in everybody's minds that a total recap wouldn't be necessary (and honestly, CW depresses me so much, all I wanted to do was put a band-aid on it).

I had to use Tony's heart condition in this; it was a little cheap, but honestly, I built the whole fic around it. That one idea--of him being unable to leave the ship and then being abducted--was the catalyst for the whole thing. :)

<3 Deadpool. I totally lifted that line from... some issue, and just changed the pronouns.

I love Firefly and I love Steve/Tony, but I admit I was a bit skeptical about mixing them before I read this. I shouldn't have been - you are a master at organically changing the universe while keeping everyone in character. This was a treat to read ( ... )

Hey, I completely understand skepticism at the premise of this fic--it's pretty out there, definitely--and I thank you for reading anyway.

You certainly didn't make it easy for them; every conversation they had touched on the wounds they still had from Civil War.

That was important to me, to make sure that it wasn't too easy for them to work things out. I think that it would take quite a few more arguments before either of them is ready to actually resolve their problems.'

The idea of using the ship as a new crutch for Tony hit too many of my buttons for me to resist. It was fantastic how the ship was basically Tony's new chest piece, and how that changed how I read the story - everything from the people who Tony allowed on his ship to Tony's fear of Steve wanting to leave was cast in a slightly different light. -- Yay! I'm so glad that part was an intense bit. My excuse for all of the varied people onboard the ship was that I really wanted to put the New Avengers together again, but I think Tony would've wanted the same thing, ( ... )
