Dethklok... Sims 3 style

Jul 30, 2012 05:42

I'm not sure anyone cares about this sort of thing... But it's my newest stress-diversion and Metalocalypse-related, so I decided to share. I might continue to share... But probably not. I rather doubt there's a demand for the Sims 3 monstrosity I have created.

This is amazing. You are amazing. (I'm playing Sims 3 too right now, but not Dethklok :()

Please keep going! I need my Dethsims fix ever since the epic saga from last(?) summer stopped updating. There's even a community! dethsims

I didn't realize there was an entire community. I doubt I'll post there, since it looks a bit dead. I did join to look at the posts, though.

Heh, and thanks. I'll keep going. At least until I'm out of my Sims-playing mood.

Your sims are awesome! I made a bunch of Dethklok sims in my own game, last summer... Decided to start them all out from childhood, which turned out to be a bad idea because HOLY CRAP TIME CONSUMING. And then I had to reinstall my game so I lost everything at the point when Snakes and Barrels was starting to be successful. :( But I have amusing pictures left from that, anyway.

I love your Facebones dog, he looks epic. And your comments are really funny.

Did this once. It was fucking time consuming. I only got them as far as college before I lost interest. XD It was totally cool that they had their families though, and that the families knew each other. My Oscar and Calvert hated each other. They would steal each other's newspapers and kick over their trash cans. It was great.

I agree, the interactions etc. that you see from the families, are great. Toki's parents turned out to be two of my most hilarious sims. Aslaug was absolutely crazy. He ran all the way into town this one time, bought a couple of sardines and a potato (for some reason, even simple food in Sims 3 is ridiculously expensive, so that's all he had money for), stuffed them into his pockets, and ran all the way back to his house.

It took him six sim hours each way.

Lol! Now that would be worth a post all by itself. XD

My Skwisgaars usually turn out to be a little on the crazy side as well. One time I had a game where Skwis was romancing Murderface (they totally fell in love in the kitchen one day without any prompting from me) while he was chasing all of the grannies in the neighborhood as well. Then this one time he had a GMILF right where he wanted her and all of a sudden he just stopped, ran home, and decided to smell the flowers out in front of his house. Like, he passed up sex to get on his hands and knees in his front yard and sniff his pansies... I was just like: O__o 'Uh.... Okay then.'

Aw! I used to have Dethsims too. My hard drive on the desktop crashed so they all hamburger timed but it was fun while it lasted. :\

I've never played sims3 before. Can you cheat and make floating houses and whatnot? I had entirely too much fun with my guys. I still go back to the sims tag every so often and remember the good old days. There was an epic storyline a couple of years ago now. I think it was Alex that did it... Anyway, it was awesome.

Please keep sharing! Also: Facebones? Brilliant.

Not sure about Sims 3, but I remember in Sims 2 it was possible to use the "moveobjects" cheat to make a floating house. Of course, you needed to put stairs so your sims could get in and out, but it was possible (use pillars, build the house atop the pillars, use the cheat to take out the pillars, and you're set). Hmm, now I feel the need to do an experiment or two with my game, LOL.

Oh, I remember. I had a floating Mordhaus on my Sims2 game. It was hella fun. >:D

Cute! I tried sims 3, but I prefer 2. I did not know you could do that with the dogs! I tried making dogs once and there was this weird glitch where you could see their skulls through the skin. So I just stuck to horses after that.

I definitely like 3 better. And that was the first time I made a pet. They do it differently than any other character creation screen I've seen them do. You can actually go into advanced options and give pets layers, then control how transparent those layers are. I liked it.

Hee! Skwisgaar telling ghost stories to Murderface, and then Pickles and Toki have that pillow fight!

Sometimes I wish my hubby wouldn't bogart the game system all the time so I can play.
