See, I was doing my Lit homework (we're discussing Australian spirituality)and I've come up with what I think, could be a pretty cool idea. But I can't really be sure until I have some evidence

1. scottish and irish grandparents. 2. the same things i usuall do. amuse myself, mostly. spend time with friends, the occasional family vacation. 3. it looks like the standard house and garden magazine landscaped garden, with paving, turf and neat edges.
1. Greek Cypriot Grandfather. German Greatgrandfather, All kinds of British, and Danish Greatgrandfather (that's where the shortness comes from). 2. On the holidays, I sometimes go to my grandparents and, as you have seen, go a little nutty as a conscequence. I also draw a lot and add to the collage on my bedroom wall. I also stress about my homework, but I do that even when it's not the holidays. 3. Its a scramble of weeds as tall as me, some citrus trees and an entire wall of roses. there's a shed and some cement covered in my dog's muddy pawprints. It's attrocious and I love it.
1) Great Grandparents from England, Ireland and Scotland. My nana also spent a couple of years in England (where her parents came from) and still says the occasional word which makes her sound incredibly English. 2) Not much. The extended family usually gets together for many barbecues and the occasional week/weekend away. These are all just an excuse to get pissed. 3) A pear tree and a lemon tree. The occasional native Australian plant. We had a passionfruit vine but it died (because it was due to die, not because we killed it) and we also have some herbs: basil, thyme and parsley. Our garden is rather large.
1) Essentially Australian, with some Greek for good measure 2) Slept, worked, camped, read... usual holiday type stuff 3) Rosemary, a cherry tree, random native plants, and a fern.
1. australia, australia, australia, england. 2. i sit around the house and attempt to improve myself through study and homework, neither of which i ever end up doing. if invited out i will go, sometimes i'll make an effort to see members of my extended family. my family don't go on holidays together, generally. 3. the backyard is a large rectangluar patch of dry grass with a couple of sheds and a hills hoist. the front yard has a few plants that smell nice, plus a gravel driveway. you do love the pine trees that grow on the street, but they're outside the fence.
