things could be a lot worse, and have been before. whether or not you have a good time is all up to you. new people arent the answer, although it would be good to have some new faces. its not only mable and elmer who put the nix on newbies, id say d hoff takes care of that most of the time. i think the answer lies in all of us being more openminded to new hangouts, we get in the mt. clemens routine, we should just say "ok mable and elmer, you dont like so and so, then stay home." and we can all go blaze our own trail w/o them.

but all in all, be thankful that your worries are tied to fun times and social expectations rather than the lack of a good job and poor financial standings.
