My parents just called to tell me that they found a remote controlled shark to put in my Mom's fish pond in the back yard. Sweet!

I am safely in New Jersey visiting my friend Adam for spring break. He lives only about half an hour from New York, and we've been there a couple times. In brief, we've

• seen the WTC site (this was my first on-Manhattan experience),
• went clothes shopping,
