Worst part its them damn bells are coming back.....

Yeah I never actually agreed to coming back yet, so I guess that is why I was never told about the meeting last night. Lucas came home, though, and confirmed everything that I had been fearful of. IF things work out with my friends up in TN, I will be doing that show.

I don't know, I'm not terribly fearful myself, but we'll see as the season goes on. The major stuff that was going around got confirmed: Scripted scenario, parade and Combat Chess got cut. There will still be fights, but it will be a very small group of about 4-5 fighters doing fights throughout the day (so far it's looking like that group will be Bryan, Carl, Maruth, and possibly Nick, but they are also holding fight auditions). Lindsay Smith is out on pregnancy leave, the blacksmith is gone this season and they brought in "Cast in Bronze" (the bell act Wade referred to). Opening gate is having a kind of acts preview section built into it (basically when the royals talk about fine entertainment, they'll introduce an act like Dextre or Todd Key or Ded Bob, etc. who will come out and do a short preview/teaser of their show at the gate). The Rum Runners are taking a hiatus of their own choosing, Kamayacha has teamed up with Bret Blackshear as a single musical entity, a few regulars like Sarah, Rick, Steve and Brian aren't going to ( ... )

Well big guy, I dont think you fear anything! One thing I know that is going to suck is the bells being right behind the ship. You know Jack did this on perpus or it seems so.

Yeah it was pretty well known they re trying to be NC renfair but thing is NC has a ton of MUSIC and mostly our old music! LOL

Anything could happen but Im sure the regs are going to be torked!

I don't know who this "Maruth" person is, but the way to shorten Mary Ruth's name is "Maroof."

While it will be odd to not have Combat Chess or Scenario's for that matter this season, I think a bit of a change is good. My over joy at the demise of the Death March not withstanding, I think shaking things up will be a good thing.

As I see it, this will pretty much give us carte blanche to make the village a more living entity as opposed to the static routine of the past.
