Well I was going to update with lots of orphan pictures.
But I can't figure out how to upload any pictures.
So I give up.
 and will later.

The electricity never went out last night, so I don't know what thats all about.  Nights here are kind of dull, everyone goes inside their houses because of the malaria carrying misquitos coming out at dusk.  And we don't have to because we're taking malaria meds and wont get it.

taking a break from classes, next one is at one.

Today I am "Teacher Cara".  I have my own classes and my own students.

After shown the ropes, went for an afternoon jog IN AFRICA, with about 10 orphan girls, and the village doctor.  Took in all the wonderful smells of Africa (the women at customs stared at elle's deoderant inside her bag and said "what's This?").  The run EXHAUSTED me ( Read more... )

Awoke in Entebbe Guest House (Gorilla Arms Guest House and Tours) at about 7am.  It started pouring rain at about 4:00am.  We had breakfast at Guest House, and then Mike Enis picked us up to take us to Rafiki Village.  The drive here was about an hour and a half, staring out the window the whole time.  This certainly is Africa. It looks just like ( Read more... )
