So the dollar has dropped, from 1 USD = 2.3 BR Reais to 1 USD = 1.7 Reais, which means all of my savings have dropped dramatically in value. Everything down there is going to be more expensive, since my money won't be worth as much. My three week trip in January just went from costing $850 to $1000, and it looks like the dollar's gonna keep on

I heard Greenspan saying that there's a 50/50 chance of a recession beginning in the next year. Woohoo.
