I think you should read Vonnegut. I'm not sure what of his you've read, but Slaughter-house Five is a good place to start...I'm reading it now and am in literary love.

Thanks. I've read Slaughterhouse 5, Cat's Cradle, Breakfast of Champions and Welcome to the Monkeyhouse (a collectiono f his short stories) all of which have been positively delightful! I'd hoped to read more Vonnegut this year, but thanks for the suggestion.
