It's my first full day here and I look in the mirror this morning to find that I have pink eye.  Just my luck. 

There is no such thing as fate.  We control our own lives.  When we fuck up, there is no one to blame but ourselves.

I want to push my body hard enough so that I can't feel anything.

After tearing myself apart over whether I was to transfer or not, I had finally made my decision.  I felt sure about it.  Turns out the class is full.
