I am of the opinion that life is always an aim for some distant target. The cruel joke is that once you reach the target, you become bored and then want to find another target. And this goes on and on until you die. And the biggest targets are the things you can't have. And those things I become obsessed with, like some 5 year old who can't go ( Read more... )

Actually, what nobody understands about what that phrase origin ally meant, was that the ten percent, is conscious thought, you basically. that is the limit for your own conscious being part of your brain. The other 90 percent actually are different functions of the brain, like psysical sensation, heart beat, vision, all the other stuff. So what you are speaking of, the mystery of more conscious senses, is not available because that ten percent is actually 100 percent, all you have.

yes of course you like your version better, because it's more interesting. But that doesn't mean your version is true. Yeah I know I have developed, but this brought me to an even more startling thought montsh ago...we are not us. What we call "I," is simply reactions and responses to stimuli from the outside world learned over time. the varying degrees with which you respond depends on the level of fear or perception of that stimuli, we are nothing but mirrors that reflect based on our insides. We form thoughts from other thoughts, no thoughts are our own. We think we are us, and even when we think, all of our thoughts are borrowed. There is no us...and we aren't even stable non-personalities...we change over the years, there is no stable self, whatever that self is.
