- What was the last book you read? I'm not sure if I should admit to this... The Hardest Thing by James Lear.
- Of your favourite books, which one do you like to recommend to people? Gosh I have too many favourite books and it depends on who I am recommending too. If it's one of my romance reader pals then it's going to be Sarah Mayberry. Anything she has written is amazeballs. if it's Sci-fi/fantasy then Stacia Kane is immense. Also anything by Nalini Singh, Ann Aguirre, Kresley Cole. If it's M/M romance then it has to be Jordan Castillo Price, or KA Mitchell or Josh Lanyon. If it is literary then Haruki Murakami, Anne Prolux, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. If we're talking kids books (I used to be a kids bookseller at Borders ) then it is Robert Muchamore's Cherub series every time.
- Which ones do you NOT like to recommend to people? I never recommend anything that is already popular cause chances are they already know about them.
- Do you still own any books from your childhood?Yes, quite a few. I have boxes and boxes up in my

...is a godess of sci-fi/fantasy. Dragonflight is still one of my fav boks of all time. Gosh, I haven't read it insuch a long time. I also loved the Tower and the Hive series.
- What was the last book you read? The Wolf of Wall Street, but I didn't finish it. The last book I actually finished was Dolores Claiborne, I think. I really don't read that much because I get distracted too easily lol. - Of your favourite books, which one do you like to recommend to people? Doctor Sleep, Misery, 'Salem's Lot, Pet Semetary...I'm sure most people have heard of these lol. - Which ones do you NOT like to recommend to people? Can't think of anything right now. - Do you still own any books from your childhood? I'm sure they're around here somewhere. - What are you reading now? Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King. - Have you seen any recent movies that were books? I caught parts of Dolores Claiborne and Misery on TV today lol. - If you hosted book club, what would you serve? Pizza.
- What was the last book you read? Honestly, I can't remember the last book I finished? - Of your favourite books, which one do you like to recommend to people? My favorite is The Beach by Alex Garland so that's a forever recommendation. I also really liked Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill. - Which ones do you NOT like to recommend to people? things I'm embarrassed to read. anything that takes me a day or so to read like Charlaine Harris, Janet Evanovich, Laurell K. Hamilton, etc. etc. - Do you still own any books from your childhood? I do but they're in storage right now. - What are you reading now? I'm rereading The Hobbit slowly and also slowly reading Divergent. - Have you seen any recent movies that were books? The Book Thief is most recent. - If you hosted book club, what would you serve? cupcakes!
Aww, I read the first few Anita Blake books but I could not get into them! LOL And I could only get about three or four books into Stephanie Plum because of the interminable love triangle. The first couple of books though were so funny!
I got over my embarrassment of reading what I read a long time ago. I read romance. A LOT. :) Plus romance has so many crossovers and sub-genres you can get basically anything. There is so much creativity in there.
What was the last book you read? Don't Spill the Milk by Stephen Davies. Hmmmmm but it also could be that I read that BEFORE I read the book about a little girl making Valentines for her mom (with flowers) and her dad (with hugs via x's & o's) and for the lonely old lady in her apartment building, the name of which I cannot remember. I must say, I enjoyed Don't Spill the Milk quite a lot. There was also and Easter one about a bunny dying eggs for his other animal friends and hiding them all over the place. And then... I can't remember what came after that book. Then DStM, and then the Valentine's one. I feel like maybe I forgot to even tell my niece what the titles were before I read them, and that's why i can't recall them at all. OH YES, the other book was one about a little girl who had a girl in her class who bossed everyone around, and the little girl was going to throw 'the best birthday party ever' but when people didn't do as she said, she crossed them off the invitation list, so the main girl crossed her own name off

Of your favourite books, which one do you like to recommend to people? Well, anyone who has not read The Great Gatsby or Lord of the Flies obviously went to a strange school, and therefore I'd recommend those first because they are completely necessary reading (as is To Kill a Mockingbird, let's be honest - that's why they're required in schools.) Anyone who has not read Harry Potter - what planet are you from, how did you get here, and is it because of alien-prejudice that you have been unable to allocate any form of the books to read? Are you illiterate? Would you like me to read them to you after you teach me your native language? The Maze Runner is great, but if you get sad, skip the last few chapters, and the last few books. Looking for Alaska by John Green! That's almost neutral. Sad, but in a disconnected sort of way. I don't know... The Fear Street series by R.L. Stine. College 101: Kim: The Party by Wendy Corsi Staub. If you don't like kid's/tween/teen books, don't talk to me. Number the Stars by Lois Lowry.

I have not read Harry Potter & am not afraid to admit it! My mom & sister tried reading the first one together when my sister was in elementary school, and they both hated it & said it was not well-written. So I lost interest in it early on. And since then, with the movies and everything, I feel like I pretty much know what happens anyway.
So many people brag about getting away with never having read To Kill a Mockingbird and such in school and I'm just like. but. if you were going to read any of them it should have been that one! A local theater here put on an adaptation of it a while back and it was brilliant. Made me want to fall in love with the book all over again.
Also, that Cassie icon you've been using lately has been killing me with feelings, jsyk.

Yes, I pretty much read all of his stuff. My fav is A Wild Sheep Chase & Dance, Dance, Dance. Which is controvesial as I think they are the least popular of his books. LOL. I read Norwegian Wood and I liked it but it just didn't grab me. I prefer it when he writes sci-fi.

And they're probably the recommendations people would want the most, because they're too embarrassed to ask about them!
