Spring Cleaning

Mar 08, 2010 16:09

As the sun grows brighter and warmer with each passing day, I simply cannot wait for spring to officially start. Spring is gardening, cleaning, working, fixing gutters and roofs, midterm exams, and afternoon tea on the front porch when all is finished ( Read more... )

SPRING IS SOOOO CLOOOOSE, LUXY! JUST THINK OF ALL THE SUNSHINE AND BRIGHT WEATHER WE'RE GONNA HAVE! 8D THINK OF ALL THE SUNBURNS AND NAPS IN THE SUNLIGHT! OMG I CAN'T WAIT! Grandma says I can help in the garden, when I'm not elbow deep in garage work with Grandpa. She's a firm believer in the healing aspects of sunlight too, isn't she? :3

A one eared bunny, eh? Sounds familiar! :D I have an in-house operation going on tomorrow, I can ask my doctor if he'll take her! I'm sure they'll have plenty in common! ^^

Jack of Spades? D: Oh, geeze, I'm so worried about all this! It seems like everyone I know and love is getting involved with it, and I'm worried like crazy! DX THEY BETTER WATCH OUT! THEY'RE TICKING ME OFF AND THE LAST THING THEY WANT IS TO DEAL WITH A TICKED OFF SAND MONKEY! Especially one that can ruin every electronic to their name!

Oh, and tell Aeris I'm addicted to her cinnamon rolls now. :| She's gonna make me big and fat with all the goodies she keeps making!

Indeed, mum is a firm believer in sunlight, but she also believes in keeping plenty of aloe around. I am not looking forward to burning again.

Oh, yes, your doctor. I suppose they would make quite the pair, wouldn't they?

Personally, I haven't received any more news from him or anyone else. It might just be nothing, which is what I'm hoping.

I will indeed tell her, as she's gotten me hooked on them as well. They're much better than mine have ever turned out, certainly.

She doesn't believe me when I tell her that I don't burn! She also won't believe me when I tell her that bright lights don't bother me. She nearly had a heart attack when she found me welding with no face mask! ._.;

There'd be a full head of ears between the two of them! :D Maybe Baghera would like a pet bunny~ he's really nice to the little ones around here... He attacked a big ole pincer that was chasing one of them! My poor kitty~ ;~; He's okay, though... he's tough!

If anyone hears anything, we'll figure something out!

THEY'RE DELICIOUS! And to think, Cloud and Brother ate all of them, and I only got half of one. ;~; The boys I love are so mean to meeeee! Teach them some manners! Brother's not as bad with English now as he likes people to think!

She's probably just overly careful about that, especially because I burn like no other. She hated it when I'd come back from an adventure and not be able to lie down because I was sunburnt on my back, chest, and legs. That was a miserable week for us. I wouldn't be surprised about the face mask, either, she constantly hounds Father about it.

A pincer beetle? Are they out already? I do feel sorry for Baghera, but he was doing a very swell job of protecting them. I'll have to keep an eye out for them when I let Hazel and Hyzenthlay play in the back garden.

Hopefully, yes. There has been a strange person walking around the neighbourhood recently, and Balthier complained of seeing someone on his roof...could they be connected, perhaps?

They are indeed delicious. Aeris packed a lunch for me today with one for dessert, and I admit, I couldn't wait until after class to eat it.
If Brother and Cloud are being mean, tell Father that, he'll get right on it. He's very fond of you, you know.

What are you, The Rabbit Whisperer? That's a strange image to think of... especially when I consider you wanting to be one with the rabbits... You should imagine yourself in a rabbit costume, it truly is quite the thing.

I've come to realise that living with a giant, pregnant Easter bunny isn't all it's cracked up to be... I'd just finished one of my papers for my Family Law class when she grabs me and demands that I clean the house because the "clutter is driving her insane".

I'd like to note here that the only messed room in our house is Albanion's. The rest of the home is kept very tidy, so like I know what she was blathering on about.

My newest journal will explain in more detail how my Spring Cleaning went... let's just say some men aren't made for housework...

My suggestion for quitting smoking would be to hit every pharmacy to get the necessary quit packs and pamphlets of advice and go from there. There are so many ways to quit these days, I'm sure you'll find something that suits.

I am most certainly not a rabbit whisperer, that's Father's role. They like him much more than they like me. I also refuse to picture myself wearing anything as garish as that.

You never were one for housework. I remember very clearly how I ended up doing most of your chores while you went off and caused trouble on your own.

I think I might try the patches. They're more unobtrusive than chewing gum all of the time, and as long as I'm not turning to sweets to relieve the oral fixation after dinner, I'll do fine, I hope.

Well, we could, love, but they're going to be up to their ears in rabbits as it is, and I have Hazel and Hyzenthlay...if you want, we can, but Rikku's doctor has expressed interest in her, and I don't think it would be ethical for a rescue to deny him that.
(Is that what inspired the new pyjamas I found on my side of the bed? The ones with the little rabbits on them?)

I believe we're entitled to celebrate a six-month anniversary as well, but yes, I will certainly drink to a year together, if you don't mind.

He's just concerned because I've smoked for a little over a decade now, and that's the one thing that keeps me from being in a better condition. It's also detrimental to you as well due to the secondhand smoke. I do thoroughly enjoy sitting on the porch swing with you after dinner, but I shouldn't smoke while you're out there.
If you could, dearest, that would be lovely. Granted, I'm on my laptop, so I will as well. Two heads are better than one, after all.

I believe he will as well, love.
(I do rather like them. Did you know they have a cottontail on the seat when you bought them?)

I concur, love. What say you to celebrating tonight?

Thank you for that, dearest. I used the gum last year when I quit smoking cigarettes. I hope it will still work to cure the last of my smoking habit.
