Trick or treating was wonderful this year. The weather was just perfect--even though I was shirtless, and we all had a blast! Now that my midterms are over and our Halloween costumes are mostly finished, I finally have some time to relax. Aeris' ultrasound went very well, and we both saw our little fellow, now that he looks more human. There was a gathering of all of the families that have adopted from Father's rescue, and Celes loved having a literal swarm of rabbits pester her for affection and treats. Tomorrow Celes goes off to school for the first time since she's entered our care. It's going to be different not having her around so much during the day--although she tended to not stick around during the day this summer, but still. Time flies, doesn't it? Our summers are nearly up, and in just a few weeks we head back to school to start our studies anew. However, there will be one less at registration this year, as Aeris has very bravely and selflessly decided to put her degree on hold for our growing family. I was fortunate enough to have the day off today, and since all of the back-to-school sales were going on, I thought it would be the perfect time to take Celes back-to-school shopping for the first time. It was my first time as well, as I normally had to make due with what I had from the year previous.
