Is it just me, or was it unbearably cold today? The weather forecast said it should be seasonally warm, but I didn't feel any of it.
I'm sitting here wearing my thickest sweater with a scalding hot cup of chamomile, and I just can't seem to stop shivering.
And yes, the thermostat is dialled up, but it's not like that ever worked in the first

But, yeah, I think it's been kind of cold lately. All of this nightly rain we've been having is messing with the chill factor and all that. NOT A METEOROLOGIST! JUST A CARDIOLOGIST! Almost!

Hah! Don't talk to me about rain and cold. I've fared far worse.

I'm sure you have. XD I'm more used to heat.

I don't know if there even would be a folk remedy for whatever that is.
I can put up with just about anything, unless it gets to the extremes like it does during summers over here. Today is just very, very, very cold for early September.

But, to answer your question, yes it's cold!

I know. I had to run home and grab my winter scarves early this morning. It feels like it should in December, not in bloody September.

(Haha, I know it's dumb to be replying when we're... lol IN THE SAME ROOM, but whatever.)

You're also more than welcome to some soup, if you want.
It is rather silly, isn't it? You probably wouldn't be able to make out what I'm saying through my scarf, though.

Well, for me it's more like I'm too darn lazy to talk when I can type, but...yeah.

Not only would my speech be inaudible, it would take energy, none of which I seem to have. I've been napping on and off for a while, but it doesn't seem to do anything for me.

But hey, at least I'm getting exercise now. It's a move up from being cooped up indoors all the time.

I don't mind not being outdoors. It's even colder outside, and that requires moving, which is something I don't feel I could quite do right now.

Looks like it's going to get you, old man. Keep an eye on yourself, and if it gets worse you'll have to hand yourself in. I hear that's the done thing with this particular illness. I'm spending my time in the physio center in the hospital. Means I get my 'walkies' (as Fran so nicely puts it) without bringing a plague upon the others around me.

No, I'm not going to get sick. All I have is just a little chill. It'll clear up in a few.
And besides, I can't go to hospital. All my insurance will cover is three days' stay. Anything else would be out of pocket.

I truly hope it's not both at once. That'd be awful.
Why would I ever object to your company, dearest?

Once all of this madness clears up, there's a place I have to take you to. No one knows of it besides me, I'm certain, not even Balthier. I think you'd like it there. We have to go before the frost hits, though.

Thank you for stopping by, though. You wouldn't happen to have a thicker blanket, would you? I've used both of the quilts and I'm still freezing. That is, if you don't mind me using it.
You're right, it was bad form for me to not consider that. But I think we'll both be fine, dearest.

Lovely! You'll love this place, you truly will.
