Midgar Calling

Nov 10, 2009 20:24

Things are going swimmingly over here in Midgar. I certainly miss home, but being over here reminds me of my time in England, so it's not all bad. Work is steady now that I've established a good clientele, so I've been busy. It seems pocket-watches are also in fashion again up on the Plate, and while I've only had two commissions so far, I can ( Read more... )

THE TWINS ARE GREAT! Making noises, making potty, opening their big hoot-owl eyes and making cute little faces and little squeaks when you kiss their noses and ears, and grabbing your hair when they feel it on their hands~ GOD THEY'RE SO CUTE!

God, I feel like a school girl spazzing over kittens with these little ones. X_X

Uh... wow, and you were complaining about a boobie-shot with a nursing baby attached? Geeze!

In regards to the lipstick issue- dish soap, after a good soaking of a quality hair spray. And don't worry, it will be off in a day or so- your body produces and sheds about half a pound of cells a day. It'll flake off, if nothing else.

That's so wonderful to hear, Xig! They sound absolutely adorable, and they're doing everything they're supposed to at their age, including making you feel weak in the knees over them.

Don't feel bad about it. I get like that, too.

Miss Aeris remained fully clothed, Xig. I haven't gone nearly that far yet.
And I already feel like Larxene could happily rip my limbs off one by one and beat me to death with them, I don't need a concrete reason for her to do so.

Dish soap and hair spray? I'll have to try that. At least I won't smell like Mrs Elmyra's cold cream any more.

Yeah, they're delightful. :D A little noisy and already rambuncious (god, I fear the day they learn to crawl. D: ) but GAAAAAAAAAH can't get enough of them! COME VISIT, DAMMIT! YOU NEED TO INTRODUCE THEM TO TEA TIME SO THEY'LL BE ALL SOPHISTICATED AND BRITISH AND SHIT!

[Private]
So, she's the one that raped you? :P

Dude, that woman doesn't NEED a reason to rip you to shreds. She'll do it when she damned well pleases, and that will be reason enough. And that will hold up in court!

Hair spray first, and dish soap afterwards. Dawn, honestly. Works the best. Or duct tape! :D

Oh dear. You'll have your hands full once they start exploring their little world. Start baby-proofing things now, because it can take forever.
I've double-checked the tickets, and the earliest I can return is the 28th. I'll be sure to visit, because I owe you a celebration, and you owe me time with the little ones. And yes, apparently, just having the accent makes me sound more educated. People will hire British people to be nannies just so their children will pick up the accent.

I wouldn't call it "rape" at all, but yes. Miss Aeris does tend to start things.

Oh dear. I'm genuinely fearing for my life right now, Xig.

If you think, even for a moment, that I am getting duct tape in my beard again, think again.
I will try the soap/hairspray combination, though, next time she decides to "attack" me.

I know it's only Wednesday, but believe it or not, there have been no fights and no calls from the principal or any of his teachers. I'm sure there is an explanation for things.
A. Things have changed since your day at the high school.
B. He's biding his time for a long weekend.
C. There's a girl.

Everyone holding up okay over on your end?

He's outdone me, then. I was in a fight before my first day of school even officially began.
Any of those do seem quite possible. It has been a decade since I was in school, after all, and there could quite possibly be a girl. His father was quite the charmer in his day, but you don't need me to tell you that.

Everyone's doing fine, yes. Mrs Elmyra's mako poisoning is getting better every day, and Miss Aeris is doing quite well, also. My back is starting to act up again, but that's probably just from sleeping on the sofa.
Have you decided on a name for the littlest one yet?

If there have been any altercations, we haven't heard about them. And if we haven't heard anything, I'm sure the teachers and the principal haven't either and he's uninjured. All signs which point to it being a girl.

I'm glad to hear that everyone is doing well. Perhaps something a little more comfortable than the couch is in order before you completely murder your back?

No, no names yet. We've talked over a few, but nothing seems to stick. We have plenty of time to think of one though.

It seems like it very well could be a girl, yes. As long as he's happy and generally staying out of trouble, I'm very content.

Oh, no. No, no, no. There are only two beds in the house, and I'm certainly not going to sleep in either one. Miss Aeris has a salve for my back that works wonders, and as long as I put it on nightly, I'm mostly fine.

You do, yes. She's not due until...April, is it?
