I really, truly enjoyed this and the story you were trying to tell. So heartbreaking.

However, I say this in the kindest way possible, I'd really recommend getting a beta - there were a lot of smaller errors that would have easily been seen with a second run through. Other than those, I loved it. :]

Thank you so much! Heartbreaking was absolutely what i was aiming for.

And yes, I really should have picked up a beta for this - as I'm not a native speaker I tend to do odd things with language and don't notice them afterwards. If I dive back into the fandom again, fic-wise, I'll make sure to find somebody via the community (or blackmail a beta I used to work with to join the fandom. Whichever happens first ;) ). I'm glad you pointed that out!

Thank you for taking time to comment. :)

This was a lovely mindfuck. Filled with lots of longing and their mutual loneliness and the refusal to stay away. Call and answer, always with them.

Excellent story, thanks for sharing!

Oh, Erik, converting the house. No there are not tears in my eyes, why do you ask? Oh, boys.

"Charles said to me that sometimes it's not enough to love somebody."

That line slays me. So tragic and so true.

A lovely story.

Tears? Pff. Nobody here has been crying during the beach scene, either *coughs* Virtual tissue, anyone?

Thank you so much for your comment. <3 I probably shouldn't be feeling this giddy about making people sad, but really, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender started it with the epic manpain.
It's, like, totally their fault.
