Ripping music from tape is an absolute pain. Especially when the tape is live, so I can't use my automatic song-splitting software to split the side into tracks. -
Cable
So it may soon be possible to get only the cable channels you care about... what a concept!

I just had lunch at the Grad Lounge on campus, which is usually good.
