Where have all the good men gone

In the last month, among my circle of friends in Perth
Nat (age 36) has had a daughter, her first child - she's been with the child's father for about 2 years
Sarah (age 31) and her partner of 7 years have broken up, because he doesn't want to be "restricted" by a relationship
