I was looking at a picture of a little boy who is waiting for a family and the boys saw it. I explained everything to them and we agreed to pray for a family for this little boy. After explaining everything Trent said,"Don't worry little guy, we'll find you a family in no time!"

Ethan has been obsessed with his bowel movements lately. If I flush the potty before he gets to check it out he has a total melt down. The other night after going potty he walked out of the bathroom and said,"That was the biggest poop of ALL poops!" (It was pretty big.)

Ethan was crying in his bed so I went in to see whats up. He pointed to a large wet spot and said,"Trent spittin in my bed!" I looked up at Trent who said,"Ethan told me to." I just shook my head. At naptime I always crawl into bed with Ethan and "sweep with him for one minute," as he always requests. We snuggle and I give him hugs and kisses, and tell him I love him. He always starts off saying, "I DON"T wuv you!" and laughs. He makes me say "Don't say love you until he finally says it. He also thinks its hilarious to say, "I wuv no one!" ( Read more... )

When told to do something or asked a question Trent will often shake his head from side to side very exaggeratedly as if shaking his head no. As soon as I start to discipline him he claims, "I was just turnin' my head and lookin' over there and then over there." as he points to each side. Nice defense.

I was in a store with the boys and Trent was getting very impatient saying, "I have no patience in me! Not in my head, not in my body!" I just came out of the bathroom to find the fridge wide open. "Why is the fridge open," I asked, directed at no one really. As Ethan walked by I heard him mubble something. It took me a minute to figure out what he said. "Maybe Rock opened it." Rock, being our dog Rocky.

Randomly, at breakfast Trent said:
"I'm so glad God gave you to our house. I wanted God to build a mommy for us named Carly."
