A house for you and me

It has been WAY TOO LONG since my last entry, and even that entry wasn't an update on how things are going in my life, so the thought of trying to go over everything is not too appealing. However, I will try, and perhaps that will unclutter my mind a bit... although my head will still feel like crap when I'm done because I am sitting here blowing ( Read more... )

I guess most people would probably want a new construction, something more modern, maybe in a subdivision where every home on the block resembles the next.

Actually, pretty much everyone I know groans loudly whenever they pass a subdivision. Myself included. heheheheh. Congratulations on your new home, that's so exciting!!!

As for the job thing, wow. First, I know I'm an outsider to the situation, but I just don't buy that line about how the boss was just trying to "feel people out" to see if they fit in... he had already committed to you! You definitely made the right decision in turning it down. It sounds like he would have been a horrible boss. Do you have any other prospects?

Those subdivision houses usually look pretty nice, but when they are all placed next to eachother like that, it looks pretty ridiculous in my opinion. And the owners are usually even restricted as to what colors they can paint their house. Not that I want to paint mine bright pink or anything, but I'd like to have the option!

Yeah, I had a feeling the boss was just feeding me alot of lines just to keep me hanging around until he could figure out what he wanted. I felt like he was just stringing me along until he could find someone better or something...sounds like how alot of guys operate, huh? hehe

My only other prospect right now is to find a broker to work for as a real estate agent, and that would be my ideal situation.

Thanks for getting through that whole long entry! :o)
