I didn't know they were in town! How could I have epically missed this? Do reply in how great they were live -I'm going to acquire their full album this weekend (yay paycheck :D).

Welllllll... Here's my "review."
After much deliberation, I decided to go to a concert on a work night. I think I made a good decision. Yes, I'm tired. And yes, I'll probably regret it in the morning. But The Bird and The Bee are a sight to see. Conceptually, the stage show is very contrived (which I happen to like because it conveys the message to the audience that they practiced to make things interesting/entertaining for you). Inara George and the background singers have some choreographed dance moves and fantastic harmonies, with some interesting use of the microphones... Aurally and sonically, the "band" is close to perfect. George's vocals are crisp and clear, giving the feeling that you are witnessing a smokey jazz gig.
Bottom line is that, if you get a chance, you should see The Bird and The Bee live. :) Maybe they'll end the set with "How Deep Is Your Love" when you see them, too.
Yep yep! I do remember that. That was the first time I heard The Bird and The Bee. And it was an awesome day. I'd love to hang out again and do something fun like that with you and Alessandra (and Nanda when she gets here on April 1st!). Let me know if you want to hang out sometime.
