I just ate my very first strawberry grown on my balcony. 
What a feeling!
It has been my dream for many years to grow my own fruits and vegetables.
I have already used in dishes some of the leaves that we planted. 
But a strawberry, freshly picked, and I don't have to worry about anything been sprayed on it. 
Feeling pretty good about myself ;)

In January, when I moved into my new house, the girls at the office made it clear that I was to invite them over. So I have at last invited them for Monday. Only 4 of them. Now I should really get started on tidying this place up! And what on earth should I serve them!?

I'm feeling like shit and I'm totally fed up of it.
Everyone says that after 12 weeks you are supposed to start feeling better. Well, the nausea has passed, the puking has passed, but I'm still not feeling well. Yesterday L and I went to Bilo center, we go there a lot on Saturdays.
Anyway, the place was chock-a-block with children. Running, shouting, loud, annoying children.
L & I just looked at each other and said - we hate children! That is , we have absolutely no patience for them. 
Oh god.

Went tonigt to pregnancy yoga, for the first time. Everyone has been telling me it will help me feel better, so we'll see ( Read more... )

Yesterday I left work early and took the father to the airport. 
It was the furthest I have ever driven.
So that was that, at long last he was gone!
R is probably the most relieved out of all of us, because he was spending all of the weekends at her place up till now.

No offense, really, but I just don't understand people who have pets.
Ok, I know that just because I am not an animal person doesn't mean I have to run down people that are.
For a lot of people their pet is their best / only friend.
I really am thinking about the pets when I say this.

I'm having a house warming party on Thursday. I made it an open house from 7pm. I invited both of my parents and all my siblings , as well as L's parents and siblings. That comes to about 25 people! I think I must be nuts! 
The house isn't ready yet; we don't have a wardrobe, pictures on the wall etc.

We moved on Monday. I took Monday and Tuesday off of work. Things are still quite a mess. We don't yet have a wardrobe so our clothes are mainly in boxes and on the stand of shelves that will eventually go in the utility room.
