Oh god, I did the same thing to myself about two years ago with the beets. Luckily the on-call nurse asked lots of questions and figured it out for me, without me having to go in. I was so embarrassed!

((hugs on the anniversary))

Dear Carol,

Sorry for the scare with the beets! I'm glad you're okay, but sorry you had to go through that. ((((Carol))))

Cows.....they can sure be difficult, especially mamas with babies in tow. I've experienced that too, especially when I was working on the ranch. I almost got mowed down by one, a mama with a new calf and we didn't know she'd calved. Wow - nearly saw my life flashing in front of my eyes that day!

I remember you and your family with the anniversary of Elteen's passing. I've been thinking of you all so much and remembering you in my prayers...

Hugs,
Erin

I am finding the days of private remembrance don’t fall away. They simply recur and get more personalized and meaningful. Private meaning literally true for nobody else, but -- some if it anyway -- universally true always?

Good call on Firesign Theater. They were here yesterday. From your description of intermittant electrical disturbances, maybe the electricians or somebodies like them were in the kitchen cooking up a storm with Bunny (from: Everything You Know is Wrong).

hee hee ... maybe there is a Firesign Theater blog somewhere that the people bat quotes around like shuttlecocks. I am intrigued they still do live shows.

wow...I gave those albums away when I did my great Vinyl Dispersal to my friend's son the DJ and music mixer. Made his day...but I wonder if Firesign Theater made it to CD? must go look.
