--Spent almost six weeks in Alaska this summer with Oliver. It was glorious, practically fall weather. And by glorious, I mean often rainy and overcast. So much nicer than DC in the summer. Urgh. Have a sink full of dishes to wash, loads of laundry to do, a living room full of toys to put away. Don't feel like doing any of it. Think I will take Oliver for a long walk instead. Which I also don't feel like doing, but has the side benefit of at least making him happy. And then I can pick up some groceries at Whole Foods on the way ( Read more... ) -

I'm alive, I'm well, and I have the world's most beautiful baby boy. I also have dial-up and for a long while even that wasn't working, hence my complete silence on the subject. Oliver was born January 29th at 12:18 p.m. He is gurgly and happy and fun, except when he's not. :D I adore staying home with him, I am very lucky to be able to do so ( Read more... ) -

Ho ho ho!
--I actually really like going to malls in the Christmas season. There, I said it. It's pretty much the only time I go to a mall without a specific plan in mind. I enjoy an occasional holiday meander, what can I say?
--I'm about to get 3 days off work to spend time with my family and the in-laws and I'm so excited!
