Do you know the feeling, when you read some amazing angsty fic and you have this feeling in your stomach like you're gonna throw up? That was me through the whole fic. I loved it THAT MUCH.

You never fail to amaze me! The tension just builds and builds until Luke's final confrontation with Scar, I mean, Damian ;-)

And through it all you maintain the perfect connection between Luke and Noah!

I really enjoyed this fic! I've always been a fan of "what ifs". I liked how you took parts of canon and twisted them a bit. I can totally see Noah falling pray to Mason after he believes that Luke is dead. It was also interesting to see how Damian turned Oakdale into his very own Potterville.

Loved the almost reunion sex. It was so Nuke. But I also liked how they didn't go through with it because it wasn't right. I thought the way you brought the boys back together was realistic and well done.

And that scene- I really liked the idea of it- that Noah would have sex with Luke but only if he couldn't look at him- there was something so broken and not-them about that that was really... well, for lack of a better word, fun to write and figure out. I don't know how you do it, I really don't.
Just when I think my feelings for Nuke start to become a little less intense, you go and write stuff like this!
Every character is so spot on, it's them. But then again, the Lion King is perfect and it totally makes sense!
Thanks so much, I really enjoyed getting sucked back into the world that is Nuke.

p.s 1 Lucinda is the best Rafiki ever!!
p.s.2 through out the story I've been so sad that Holden wasn't there, but then I realized that he is there! And that's of because of the way you wrote him into the story. thanks for that!!

Thank you so much!! I honestly think that's one of the reasons I don't stop writing them- it helps keep the Nuke feels alive for me. And no one was more surprised than me that all of the Lion King stuff matched so well! Made my job easier. And ha- I'd always planned to have Lucinda as Rafiki, but then never included it in the first draft- I had to rush and figure out what to do before posting, oops!
