Cross my heart and hope to die…stick in a needle in my eye…It’s strange that such a morbid pledge be used so commonly among children. It makes you wonder what effect this has on developing and impressionable minds. Perhaps it is a way we learn to deal with things that aren’t so pleasant in life

Sorry to hear that your Mum was so unwell Caz, I hope that she is well on the road to recovery and will be nice and healthy soon!

Oh how I loathe New Year's Resolutions. I didn't make any for 2010, and I didn't even think about making any for 2011, because I always manage to fail most of them and disappoint myself. I just try to approach the year with an open mind and heart, and accept what comes my way, without trying to achieve certain goals. I hope yours go well though, they seem like sensible resolutions! I could do with some sensible resolutions though, particularly something like your resolution #4 (considering that the men I like to chase are always either gay or, in the most recent case, my manager (whos sexuality is still undetermined but is nonetheless unattainable - ugh).

Anyway we must catch up sometime soon - I misses my Cazamaline!

I tend to forget about mine and then inadvertently fail them too, but that doesn't stop me from making a new one every year! Undetermined sexuality is of the most horrible of horrible dilemmas...I understand. The guys I go for are dead-ends or are secret douchebags, I must change my shallow ways. Yes, we must indeed catch up soon! I go back to uni on the 31st of jan and I assume you go back sometime at the end of Feb or beginning of March like other normal people. Let me know when you are next free!

I once liked someone, but then I found out she was lesbian AND taken! But I can't say undetermined sexuality is a common problem for us guys.

Anyways, saddened to hear about your mum. I hope she gets through it all, and great to hear she's recovering well.
