Promises
Cross my heart and hope to die…stick in a needle in my eye…It’s strange that such a morbid pledge be used so commonly among children. What I like
A fascination/fixation with nature and night, I think these are the two things that keep my mind in some sense or state of being. When I can just relax and appreciate one or both of these things, I am happy. I often wish I could draw blurry night lights or draw how I see the world without my glasses/contacts. A miracle happened today. My registrar who isn’t the most predictable person in the world (i.e. massively temperamental) and is usually unimpressed with me no matter what I do (even if I do things correctly) was super nice when she was assessing me today. I just noticed today how surreal light from oncoming traffic looks in a mild drizzle at night. The headlights create a lovely glow that makes the rain look like a pale golden fog (I read that as pale golden frog). I love the way mist looks (especially mist over bodies of water)…and fog, I actually like seeing fogs; hazardous but pretty. That’s a ( Read more... ) -
Being in open places
I was at the Liverpool Sexual Health Clinic for the entire day today and thus was able to further my knowledge (& interest) in sexual health. Awesome awesome stuff! Firstly, I now realise that I have lived an incredibly sheltered life. My views on sex workers are changing and my assumptions about how many people affected with HIV has totally gone ( Read more... )
