Neither of these are the requests I'm supposed to be working on, but they're sort of my 'happy place' fics, and sometimes when I want to read something, I have to write it ( Read more... )

Tommy is so whipped over Merton it's not funny. Any teenage boy who will dress up in a leotard and do interpretive dance just because his best friend asks...yeah, he's definitely getting something in the bargain.

PS -- I'm sorry you had such a lousy day.

Oh, that's so sweet! How could Merton even think that Tommy wouldn't make it home for New Years? I love the curtainverse. The idea that Merton's family has to deal with both Becky and Merton being gay just really appeals to me for some reason. Oh, and I love the idea of Lori and Becky together.

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying. Every time I think about Merton and Becky both being gay and the odds of that happening, I remind myself that Rosie O'Donnell has a gay brother and then I change the subject in my head. Because I'm all kinds of lame.

Don't you love it when your significant other gives you a sweet romantic surprise. I mean not that I would actually know anything about that lol... But its a pretty thought lol... Have I ever mentioned that I think you rock...

Awesome and lovely and really, really good.

Also, most of the flowers have opened, and they look absolutely gorgeous. You're the best.

I've been meaning to tell you that I'm glad your mom wasn't upset about the phone call. It's nice to hear that the flowers are opening, too; on the one hand it would be nice if they were open when they got there, but then again, it's nice when they last awhile, too.

Hope you're doing okay.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm glad they'll last awhile now, but when they got there, I wanted to know what they'd look like.

Things are okay here. The graveside service was nice, and despite the reasons for it, I was happy to see Lara and Dino. And, yeah, we just can't really catch a break here - my brother called from the hospital today, and they'd sent my dad over to the ER after his check-up, as his blodd pressure was so low they couldn't read it (it ended up being 63/60). He's staying overnight tonight, but he says that he's feeling find and his BP is back to normal. It's probably all the meds he's on at the moment. It's just, you know, really frustrating.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all of this at once. I will say a prayer for your dad, which may or may not make you feel better, but I will be thinking about him.
