More Butterfly Effect.  I still don't know what's going on with this fic, but at least I got them to talk to each other.  That's something.

Chapters 1-25 are here. Chapter 26 is here.

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Truce )

Sorry this reply took so long.

They are so freaking adorable. I think I love them. I know I love Tommy. And Merton talked about alchemy, but damn that David. He got him kicked out of that last school, but wait if he hadn't been kicked out he would'n't've met Tommy -- and that is the best thing that's ever happened to Merton.

I'm so glad you got them talking, and joking, and teasing and talking about adding up points, and Merton helping Tommy with math. Woo hoo.

Loved this part, especially the image of Tommy leaning on the bed!

You know, when I started this thing, I didn't really intend to make David the Worst Boyfriend Ever. But what the hell, it's not like anyone likes him. And he's never going to make an appearance, so who cares. Now I just have to get them from talking to *doing* something. Le sigh.

::licks your Joxer icon all over::

I love it. Then again, Joxer/Ares fic is my biggest, guiltiest, pleasure.

I believe it was I who was supposed to try you again, so there is no apology necessary. Not that I would require an apology either way, but you know what I mean. I'm just glad things worked out in the end. That is sort of above and beyond the call of your job, but I imagine it happens a lot in your line of work.

As for the fic, sometimes *I* have to reread it just so I can remember what I said about certain events in earlier chapters. Oy.

O, I am so happy. The cuteness of it feels like a fish hook in my throat. Er, the good kind of fish hook, that is, of course.

I am enraptured and staring and stalking you for the rest, and will continue to be so. Quietly. Here. In the corner.
