"Here's to September, that it will be better than August"

went to the movies alone for the first time. It wasn't so bad until I realized not only did I come alone but I was the only person in the theater... Though, right after the movie started two more people did enter so I didn't end up watching it alone.

Well I thought it was going to be extra cold here the whole time I was here, like too cold to do anything outside, but sadly I was wrong, today it was 5 degrees above zero, I wish I had brought my snowshoes. But I did get to go to the Beltrami County Historical Museum and to Maurices which was nice, now I need to figure out if mass at Bemidji State ( Read more... )

right now I am writing from Bemidji Minnesota, where I am teaching a portion of a class for work tomorrow and wednesday. It is pretty cold here, high's of -7 and this morning it was -27 without any wind chill, but it was sunny and pretty out. Off to Michigan!

Beautiful day here today, 70 and sunny and I got to travel down the mississippi river valley to see a rock cut in the beautiful bluff country of minnesota. One of my co workers said something frustrating at the end of the day though so now I am feeling frustrated and lonely. But I get to go to band tonight so hopefully that will work it off. miss

I'm hungry, hmmmm looking up recipes for squash, and trying to find out what kind of squash I bought :-). This weekend was nice. We had sports night on friday, it was the last day of outdoor sports night where we play Ultimate Frisbee! and now it goes indoors and I think turns into volleyball... now I usually think of myself as pretty capable at ( Read more... )

Arrrrrr!

Today is a dreary fall day, which I actually really like. Mass was very good :-) and we are cooking sausage and cabbage soup for dinner. :-) Dave makes me smile

Yay! I got to walk around Lake Calhoun with Christina and Kristin, it was so much fun to just hang out and walk! Hopefully these nice weather evenings continue!
