I am old and fat.  I just moved most of our books into the gigantic truck and I feel like hell.  So I've gotten on Craig's List to hire some brawn to move this stuff for me.

The Penske truck we got is hella big.  It's so big it's Diesel. 

Today I move.

My dogs do not approve of what we're doing.  Since we're in moving and packing crunch mode today, they're running in and out of the house getting into mud and then tracking it in as much as possible.  They love mud and they hate packing, whatever that is.  Porter seems insistent on getting his pawprints on as much as he can ( Read more... )

I got a new tattoo yesterday, on my calf.  It's a Phoenix coming up from burning itself up.  I will add pics soon.

I have a breast cancer awareness pen that has a string attached so that you can wear it around your neck.  I'm wearing it.  It made me remember that old show Ghostwriter.

I'm in DC again - until Saturday.  On Saturday I'm looking at apartments and hopefully choosing a community to join in Herndon or Reston VA.

I'm really tired today, I had an early flight and the dogs had me up around 5.
