I've got a new pet. Well, technically two new pets. I found her/them while at the edges of the forest collecting aconite.

Oh, Christ. Slyterin House is turning into a bloody zoo.

...although I must admit your new animal far outranks Bella's farm by a mile of cool. Does it bite, and if it does, is it poisonous?

Perfidia bites, Hindrance doesn't. She's not poisonous.

Oh, good. And you'll be keeping them in a perforated box or container safely hidden in your dorm, I expect.

Aren't there normally three heads? Did they kill one of them or what?

That's a hydra. These are just conjoined twin rat snakes who only split at the head.

Ooooh. I thought it would be a...rune...runespoon? Rune-something. The three headed snake thing. Those are wicked.

I tend to dislike creatures that can kill me. Or hurt me enough to make me wish I was dead.

They're beautiful. (I'm assuming using the plural would be correct.) You must let me see them sometime.

ooohhh, they are amazing. Runespoors have 3 heads, classyfied dangerous by the M.O.M.
Its third head was probably bitten off by the right side(Perfidia) whose fangs may be poisonous.

Runespoors heads have different uses. The left one (Hindrance
) would be the planner. The middle non-existant one would be the dreamer and the left one (Perfidia) is the critisiser. The heads attack each other. Its common to see a Runespoor with 2 heads, as two heads usually combine to bite the other one off.

Er...no. They're not a runespoor. There never was a third head. It's just conjoined twin rat snakes who split at the head. Strange, but not particularly magical. And not poisonous, since their heads aren't wider than their body.
