What's the point of studying ancient cultures we know barely anything about? Everytime I read anything about Babylonian culture, it's either "this is so alien we really don't understand what the hell it's talking about" or "we would be able to get it but half of the text is missing." Maybe it's the coffee talking, but when Sephora sent me a birthday message saying "May your birthday be filled with beautiful hair and pretty makeup!" I smiled.
