Today my boss got a call that her mother is not expected to live much longer. She has been in hospice care for quite some time now. She has had a variety of health issues for the past few years but was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in March and has been declining since then. Due date is December 18th. One more month. Since I'm already dilating, I doubt I'll go the full time, but you never can tell. I could stay the same way for weeks.

If there ever was a phrase that should just go away I would vote for “it is what it is” of course it is what it is ...it couldn’t be something it isn’t.

Your office is quite a cluster. Hope things don’t implode.

Haha, you know, i used to hold exaxtly that opinion too, but lately there have been a few occasions where it just seems to fit. I guess it is an acknowledgment that i can't change this situation, don't even care to try to at a certain level and am content to let it be!

Oh, your poor boss and poor you! You don't need that sort of pressure hanging over your head. The baby, OTOH, will do exactly as it pleases. I will keep a good thought for both of you!
