Thanksgiving is in a couple of days. Do any of you have any special Thanksgiving traditions?

Thanks-I've had a lot going on and haven't been able to be on here as much :( I'm cooking also, but not until Saturday after. On the actual day I don't have much planned but I'm so glad not to have to set an alarm for work!

Nothing too exciting, dinner with Aaron's family and again with mine.

That sounds like a lot of eating!

Back before our grandparents and parents died, we used to go have Thanksgiving with them. These days we celebrate alone. We'd not mind going to see Hubby's sister and cousin there in his home town but the weather's been too iffy this year.

The weather can definitely make things complicated to arrange!

We don't celebrate the holiday here in Germany. But I heard a few of my online Christian friends in the US will be home alone, so we're all getting together for a little Zoom party I'll join and am looking forward to.

Nice to see this post, just yesterday I wondered how you are. :)

The zoom party sounds good. I always try to invite people who I know will be alone for holidays over to my house or try to include them...I just think it's good and the right thing to do-this Zoom party you are talking about is a great idea!

Thank you-honestly, I've just been barely keeping my head above water over here. Things have just been.... too much. I hope to be around more after this month is over.

That really is a good and right thing to do. I'd invite them to my home too if I could.

I hear you, things overwhelmed me a bit too this past year, especially with this chronic fatigue I have. We'll get through!
