AW, man, I'm sorry to hear about your tooth issues. ): That does sound tramautizing. But glad you didn't have the same issues this time, and the dentist took the time to make sure you were good to go and then got in touch with you later on. Sounds like a great dentist!

I had the WORST dental anxiety for years. I can't even really explain why, but it got to the point he had prescribed ativan (or something similar). I have genetically bad teeth and I have had a lot of work done and need a lot of work to do. I'm on 4 root canals and more fillings than teeth. But one thing that helped me is a dentist that is paitent and understands me. He's two hours away from my house, but its worth it!

It sounds like we have similar mouths. I've been told so many times that I have genetically bad teeth and that no matter how I brush that I will continue to have problems with my mouth and that really the only and best thing to do is just keep up with the work and try to maintain as best as possible. I imagine I'll end up with dentures at some point in my life, but I hope to prolong it for as long as possible!

I use sensitive restoring toothpaste (it tastes like crap, but it works) and crest restoring mouthwash (or any restoring mouthwash, I'm not brand faithful, I buy whats on sale).

Its always 'you have to lay off the pop' and I'm like 'I haven't drank regular pop since college'.
