Heh, yeah. I think he was one of the first twitterers that cross posted to LJ that I know of. I've used it a few times, but it's too much or me to keep up with. He has all these people who twitter feed, streaming thoughts about all kinds of stuff related to his job and geeky boy things. But yeah, I don't read it much either. I totally know what you mean.
twitter is just a little bit too much like the snack food of online discourse... i get it, but if you want to make a small, one-line post, why do you need an entirely different system?
I approve this message. I'll use my facebook for one liners and I refuse to post more than twice a day except in extreme circumstances. This is not linked to my LJ (though LJ posts are linked to facebook) Twitter isn't a web journal (hate the word "blog"), LJ is. Everything that isn't a legitimate journal entry should not be on LJ IMO.
