I'm considering one of two characters, and one of them (this guy) is a silent protagonist with his personality based on what the player can assumed from his dialogue choices. Can silent protagonist(s) be app'd?
And my other guy have an gem that's basically stuck to his skin and can't be removed in canon, allowing him to use magic (with certain requirements). Will it stay or be removed if I choose to apply for him?
Two questions before we can process your questions further:
1) Do all the dialogue choices showcase the same personality? Alternatively, is there a manga or anime that could be used for additional canon information?
2) Is all the magic that the gem allows him to use something that could be used in combat, or does it provide other abilities, too? ( -> healing, mind reading, etc)
1) In general, the dialogue choices show two types, at least, of personalities: Perceptive and thoughtful, or naive and ignorant.
There is no anime or manga of Devil Survivor, but there's a drama CD.
2) According to canon and story-wise, the gem enhance his capabilities and act as a foci to channels his mana (MP) for special attacks. He eventually learns a self-target temporary healing spell later.
1) Would you be able to take the personality from the drama CD and add the additional information from the game to it, making the drama CD the basic canon information source

I have a question! Yuri's powers consist on the fact that he can fuse with the soul of monsters. So basically his soul is populated by these other souls of the monsters he defeats. Will these be completely gone or will they just be blocked? (I can just lock the doors |D)
Also, Yuri has a curse upon him that slowly eats his soul away. Within time he'll start forgetting things and will end up as an empty shell. Will that curse still be active?
And I didn't really get the part about the 'given powers'. Um does that mean they can mantain some sort of their original powers? Yuri is an expert at hand to hand combat. Does that count as a power? In his human form he's as resilient as a normal human. Perhaps a bit more due to his stubborness.
1) This means that his soul has separate chambers for the monsters' souls, like a house with many rooms, each soul in one room and the "house" being his own soul?
2) The curse would be active during events, but inactive outside of events. This means that it would be slowed down considerably, because it would be active less than two weeks every month.
3) If one of their original skills that is not linked to closely to their supernatural combat skills, those skills will remain. For example healing through controlling the water in someone's body would not remain if the person can also control the water in someone's body to make them fight for her/him; if the healing power is something that cannot be twisted into something used in combat, it will remain. That can also be a part of a power; if someone uses their negative aura to set people on fire and the positive to heal them, the positive one will remain.
4) Hand to hand combat skills are no supernatural power and thus remain intact.
1)Hm something like that, yesh. Not so much a house as it is a graveyard that latter shifted to a rather empty plane divided by doors. There are countless doors there and some of them (the ones for the strongest fusions) don't open at times anyways.
2) Okies that works then~
3&4) Hm he doesn't have any magic skills in his human form so I guess he'll only keep his inate ability to kick ass ^^ He won't be gaining any other ability given that fact, correct?
1) Then yes, the doors would still be there outside of events, but they would be blocked and he would not be able to enter the graveyard/empty plane, unless you want that to be
3&4) his 'given power'. It is tiny, seemingly useless and kind of superhuman. OR you could say that he can't enter his soul and invent something.
Hey there! I'm pretty intrigued by this game, and I had a question for you about the character I'm considering applying for.
So first off, she's from a canon riddled with zombies, and has recently been declared by the creators as a carrier of the virus. Should I choose to app her, how would that be handled? Would Linda be able to cancel out the virus or would she have to wear a respirator or something?
Linda controls the substances in the air inside the facility. If the infection spreads through the air, she would release an antidote into the air circulation system.
Could you explain how one becomes a zombie in her canon in more detail?
Weeeell, it's kind of complicated. The virus is constantly mutating. But it's been stated that it's airborne and that it's spread by bite or scratches.
The airborne part would be contained; If she bit/scratched one and the person got infected, Linda would notice, the zombie would be taken care off and your character would vanish for a day and show up two days later with shiny wristbands that cannot be taken off without severing both limbs. Those wristbands would insert a drug into her system that keeps the virus in check.
Oh, good. But there is one thing I've been a little confused on, and this is really just my own fault for being obtuse. How long is the grace period for reacting to events? I was going to do an "oh no I have to protect that poor little girl I met from the siren" but was seeking permission for involvement from my roommate first and before I knew it it was tomorrow...
I really do worry too much about these things, don't I. [She laughs nervously.]
Healing items are treated like weapons. They will be returned during events as soon as weapons are returned (the first event of that kind should be either this or next month.)
